My love for travel is so strong that I’m working on getting my pilot’s license… Here’s a video of my instructor, Nick, and I doing a “touch and go.” Of course I had to edit the video and add music to make it even more interesting:) And my landing wasn’t as rough as it looks!!

My Video for Atlantis – The Bahamas – Spring Break

I already have spring break on my mind and thought I would put together a video of my adventures in The Bahamas last spring break. So often when you research The Bahamas and Atlantis you find one dimensional images and you never get to see the actual setting. I was not planning on doing anything with all of my iphone videos, so excuse the quality and shakiness.
I’m definitely not the “beachy” type, so I had some difficulties with finding things to do; however, I had a wonderful time exploring an abandoned island near Atlantis. Apparently the resort was demolished by a freak hurricane and they couldn’t rebuild due to the lack of insurance. We were also told that if you decided to squat there for 7 years, it could be yours! Oh and I can’t stop listening to the song I put with my video (Soho Dolls -Bang Bang Bang Bang).

Where in the World is Matt Lauer? – Retiring???

Every year my dad and I look forward to seeing where Matt Lauer visits for his annual segment “Where in the world is Matt Lauer?” This year he visited Namibia, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, and Barbados; I think my favorite countries of these were Namibia and Switzerland. You can watch this recap video to decide which countries you think would be the most fun to visit!

One other thing…. I just read an article where Matt said he is temporarily retiring his segment because “it gets tougher and tougher to find extraordinary places. So, if we’re not completely done with it, we’re certainly going to rest it for a good long while and maybe revisit it with a twist at some future date.” Wow… He said he’s visited 51 places and they’re having a hard time finding “extraordinary” places…. I’m somewhat disgusted with that comment. Maybe he just needs to pass the torch to me then. Okay I’m done ranting. I still love Matt Lauer. This video is pretty hysterical of him impersonating the old spice guy (start is at 33 seconds)
